- Morning Practice starts Monday June 22nd. The times are:
8:15 - 10:00am (11 and up)
10:00 - 11:00am (9/10s)
11:00 - 11:45am (8 and under)
- TEAM PICTURE DAY is next Thursday (June 25th). There is no practice on this day. ALL swimmers should plan to arrive at the pool on this day by 8am. The team picture will be taken first followed by individual and family portraits. Wear your team suit! Also, bring an article of clothing to decorate with PERMANENT fabric markers. WST will provide the markers, each swimmer should provide the article of clothing.
- CONSIDERATION - is a must! Our coaches and fellow parents are not a babysitting service. If your swimmer(s) are dropped off at any WST function (practice, time trials, etc.) you must know when to return for them. Be aware of the weather. If weather conditions change and a cancellation is necessary someone must be reachable IMMEDIATELY to pick up your
swimmer(s). Your swimmer(s) must have immediate contact info for the person who should pick them up. There may also be unforeseen circumstances not related to weather that would cause your swimmer to need to contact you and/or be picked up earlier than expected. Someone who can pick up your swimmer(s) in such an event MUST be reachable whenever your swimmer(s) are left at any WST function. Along the same lines, swimmers should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled practice times and should be picked up on time after practice.
- BLUE AND GOLD NIGHT - is a WST team spirit event. It will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at our home pool. The exact time will be communicated shortly but it is Blue/Gold NIGHT to give you an idea of time. Note that this is a date change as the previous date was a conflict with a township event. July 7 is the correct date. For this night the coaches will divide the kids into two teams (Blue and Gold) for some fun and silly relays. There is a parents' relay for anyone who'd like to participate. More details will follow but mark your calendars now.
- If you are interested in becoming a stroke & turn judge, please attend one of the clinics (clinics page). Contact Keith Mecutchen (kmecutchen@almo.com) to let him know if you're interested. Keith can also help with the location of the clinic if you're unsure. If you are interested in becoming a starter also contact Keith.
- As you may recall, this year's team gift is the team suit.
Suits are now available at Training Zone.
Just take your swimmer(s) to the store (see address below) and ask for the Warrington Team Suit. They have a list of all WST swimmers who have paid their registration fee. If you have not yet paid your fee, as soon as you get it to me, your swimmer(s) will be added to the list.
